Carnival in Freiburg

Carnival has been around since the 14th century.There, the people started to
danced and played games. Up to the 20th century they celebrate carnival at home with their family.
1928 was the first fool meeting in Freiburg.There are still many carnival guilds. For example the Fläckleshäs, the Freiburger Hexen and the Bächle Bätscher.The Bächle Bätscher are one of many bands in Freiburg.
You often wonder when is Carnival normaly. The Carnival starts on 11th November at 11.11 o clock and ends on the Ash Wendsday.At this time are many Carnival events. It has always worn on Carnival costumes but today the costumes are very colorful and they have more details. The selection of the costumes is very big. You can also find a lot of fairy figures, occupations and fantasy figures.
